Regarding the Body, Everyone is Entitled to Respect and Compassion.

Neutral Approach
As a bodyworker, I have built a deep respect for all bodies. All bodies, in all shapes and forms, are inherently deserving and entitled to respect, protection, and care. This concept is foundational for all of my actions in my practice. It is important to me to create a safe environment that is free from judgement. Observations made in the massage room are purely based in curiosity and a neutral, data collecting perspective.
Judgement (from others or from ourselves) is counterintuitive to promoting healthy behaviors and a healthy mindset. The stress that comes from judgement and shame is more harmful to the nervous system than almost any other unhelpful behavior. For this reason, I think it is extremely important to help each of my clients establish and protect a friendship with their bodies. Massage is a powerful way to interrupt internal stress and shame cycles while addressing the needs of the physical tissues.

My Background
I began my journey at Myotherapy College of Massage Therapy. While there, I developed a passion for skeletal anatomy and pursued Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue Massage at every opportunity. Additionally, I gained an appreciation for the calming effects of Swedish massage, the benefits of Perinatal massage, Lymph Drainage, Cranial Sacral Release, and Acutherapy. Something I love about massage therapy is that it allows me to use many different modalities.
I obtained my license in August of 2020. Since then, I have worked in several different environments. I have worked for an outcall massage service in Park City, I worked for a chain spa in Salt Lake Valley, and I worked for a five-star spa in Deer Valley. Eventually, I realized that I wanted to be self-employed and in June of 2023, I opened up my private practice in Sandy, Utah. I moved to my current location in North Salt Lake in June of 2024, and I am extremely pleased and thankful to be where I am.
